Fast electric beds are a must! Yes you pay a little more but the savings keep coming back many times over. As an administrator I saw great improvements after we implemented fast electric beds. It is the only thing I ever did that everyone said thanks and no one complained. Some research done by NIOSH indicated that if a bed did not go from low to high in 20 seconds or less there was a significant increase in back injuries.
