I cant believe I've been out of the er for 2 years yet despite being hurt on the job I still miss it. I thought that I would feel better having won my wc law suit but it really is a bandaid on a big wound. I have been able to work as a home health nurse, but despite how I was treated after my injury I still feel an emptyness as though part of me is missing. My husband says "get over it, it's over" but thats easier said than done. I really was a good er/icu nurse and it's hard to let go.....
